No team has experienced more upheaval over the past week than the New York Jets, who fired head coach Robert Saleh on Tuesday following back-to-back losses to Denver and Minnesota. The move puts even more pressure on future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers, who is still working his way back from an Achilles injury that cost him his first season in the Big Apple.
“I think we need to do everything we can to maximize this opportunity,” Rodgers told reporters ahead of game time. “We need to be accountable to each other. When something like this happens, it’s a reset for everybody.”
That opportunity will come against the division-leading Buffalo Bills, who are in the midst of some upheaval of their own after dropping two straight games to fall to 3-2 on the season.
